Five Star Sweet & Sour Chicken and more!

January 13, 2021 | paleo, meals

What you have this week is a very normal, very average family meal plan. Nothing fancy, just a mom two weeks into a new year already feeling a little tired and disorganized. You are safe here and this is a welcome space for you. Grab a recipe, cook for your people, and gather them around your tables. (Or your bathtubs. See Tuesday.)

Here's what we're eating this week:

Sunday: Sweet & Sour Chicken + Rice + Broccoli

(5 stars, this chicken recipe was soooo yummy!)

Monday: Spaghetti

The usual, Jones chicken meatballs, Rao's Pasta Sauce + noodles for them and zucchini spiralized noodles for me!

Tuesday: Tacos

I'm going to level with you here. I ate a folded up taco on the bathroom floor while my kids played in the tub after both having random potty accidents within 5 minutes of each other. SOLIDARITY, MAMAS.

Wednesday: Jerk Chicken & Rice

(Another new recipes - I have been loving everything I've made from 40 Aprons lately!)

Thursday: Pizza Night

You can find my favorite usual pizza crust on almost every other meal plan post, but this week we're trying a gluten free option to see if that helps my daughter's tummy. We'll report back!

Friday: Cheeseburger Salad and Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

For my low carb or clean eating pals, this is my faaaaaaaave salad! It is so flavorful and filling. Move over big mac, we out here. I'm also trying out my air fryer that I got for Christmas, yay!!

Grace and peace, y'all! May your dinner tables be blessed this week!
