Meal planning is my secret. Its no new thing, its just what gets us fed, fueled, and staying halfway sane in the week! Recently I began eating gluten and dairy free, so now planning ahead is even more helpful to me! I am already doing the planning, so I thought sharing with you could help you out too! What's Cookin' Wednesday! Meal planning is my secret. Its no new thing, its just what gets us fed, fueled, and staying halfway sane in the week! Recently I began eating gluten and dairy free, so now planning ahead is even more helpful to me! I am already doing the planning, so I thought sharing with you could help you out too! We gotta stick together, friends.
A Few Tips:
I plan out our meals based on days of the weeks just because my brain works that way. Some nights are busier than others, so i can plan around that. But 9 times out of 10 I switch things around last minute. Don't be tied to the day of the week! Just map out how many meals you need, get the groceries, and give yourself flexibility
// Most meals I have recipe links for, but some are just basics. Like spaghetti, make noodles - I do spaghetti squash for me, brown meat, dump on sauce (Rao's from Costco is our fave!) Tacos is always some type of taco meat, and then we will make a chipotle bar out of it!
// Have some faves. I literally make a batch of Buffalo Chicken every week. We store it in the fridge and use it for lunches. Its got 3 ingredients and is stupid easy!
// I do plan our lunches too. I find if I don't, I make unhealthy choices which doesn't serve me well!

Here's what we're eating this week!
Sunday: Buffalo Potato Wedges, Bacon Meatballs, BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
Monday: Buffalo Chicken Wraps | Spaghetti
(Here's that Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe I told you about! We plop it on butter lettuce leaves with some paleo ranch for easy wraps!
Tuesday: Cobb Salads | Taco Tuesday
No recipes here. But hard boiled eggs are the secret to Cobb Salads!
Wednesday: Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad + crackers | Veggie Bowls
This chicken salad is SO good! We actually ran out of our fave crackers so I ate it with blue tortilla chips, but its even good plain!
The veggie bowls is an old fave of mine I concocted based on some other recipes. I will type it out soon! Its saved in my "EAT" highlight if we're insta friends!
Thursday: Buffalo Chicken Salad | Pizza Night
More buffalo chicken! Sorry not sorry! I do a premade gluten free crust for myself, but this other crust recipe is my family's fave!
Friday: Leftovers | Chipotle Chicken Fajita Bowls
