To celebrate St. Patrick's Day today, our book choice is “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover.” Its a funny rhyming book based on the old woman who swallowed a shoe original!

After we read the story together, you can play along at your house! There’s a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt you can do wherever you are today!

Some other fun at-home ideas:

• For those too small to write yet, give them little post its or stickers to go put on all the green things they find!
• For teeny babes, gather up some green toys and let them play with that bin. 
• Color sort! Get household items of green + other colors and sort them into groups!
• Older ones? Can you write your own “There was an _____________ who swallowed a…
• Make a list of rhyming words for each item the old lady ate!
